Where are you right now?
I'm in my new flat in Exeter.

Is this a get away from it all and write flat?
Well I've got a month to do some pre-production so I thought I'd get away from it all and hang out with my mates in Exeter. I'm also down here doing some rehearsals with John Leckie.

This has been one of the most hard working years of your life
hasn't it?

Yeah it's been amazing. I've been all over the place to all these festivals - over 50 in most countries you can name in Europe and a couple in Japan. And to top it all off I think we've done at least 250 gigs during the year.

So you've played with lots of different people?
Yeah, it's been so different. In the states we were suddenly confronted by all these stadiums playing with Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Foo Fighters - and that shocked me. We are just a three piece and I wasn't used to covering such a big stage. That's were a lot of the on stage antics, that are going on now, have come from.
